How to sync more than one meal plan to the client's app?

You may have seen the following message if you create separate meal plan instances:

"Only ONE meal plan can be synced to the client's mobile app..."

Managing Meal Plans in Foodzilla

Flexible Meal Planning

Foodzilla’s meal planning system is calendar-based, allowing you to create different meal plans for various weeks within the same plan. For instance, you can set a low-carb diet for the first week and a balanced diet for the second week without needing separate plans. Simply use the week selector to switch weeks and create or adjust the meal plan accordingly.

There can only be one meal plan instance that's synced with the client's mobile app at a time.

Solutions

There are a couple of solutions to manage syncing meal plans into the client's mobile app.

1 - Syncing a Specific Meal Plan with the Mobile App

By default, the first meal plan instance is synced with the mobile app to enable collaborative planning. This ensures that your clients can edit the synced meal plan on their devices, and our system can track which plan to update.

If you prefer to have multiple meal plan instances, you can choose which one to sync with the client's mobile app by clicking on the 3 dots button and then choose "Sync to Client App". The meal plan that's synced with the client's mobile app will have a checkbox message indicating that it's synced with the client's mobile app.

2 - Merging Meal Plans

You can merge meal plans by converting one into a template and then importing it into another plan. For example, convert the second week’s plan into a template and import it into the first week’s plan.
