Online Booking System for Nutritionists and Dietitians

Foodzilla includes a built in online booking system designed for nutritionists, dietitians, health coaches, and other practitioners.

Bookings are connected with your client management workflow, so appointments, client information, and follow ups can stay together without relying on a separate scheduling platform for everyday bookings.

Bookings are available on the Professional plan and above.

How to Set Up Online Bookings

  1. Go to Forms & Bookings and open the Bookings tab.
  2. Create a Booking Type, such as:

    • Initial consultation

    • Follow up consultation

    • Check in

    • Discovery call

  3. Set the appointment duration and availability.
  4. Configure booking limits such as minimum notice, booking window, and buffer times.
  5. Choose how the appointment will take place.
  6. Connect your calendar and video meeting integrations if needed.
  7. Share your booking page or individual booking link with clients.

Clients can also access bookings through the Foodzilla mobile app and Client Web Portal.

Appointment Locations and Video Meetings

Booking types can be configured for different appointment formats, including:

• In person

• Phone

• Foodzilla Meet

• Google Meet

• Zoom (coming soon)

• Microsoft Teams

This lets you offer different consultation types depending on how you work with clients.

Calendar Integrations

You can connect Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar to Foodzilla.

Connected calendars help Foodzilla check for scheduling conflicts and prevent clients from booking times when you are already busy.

Foodzilla Meet

Foodzilla Meet is Foodzilla’s built in video consultation feature and is included with Professional plans.

It can be used to run online client consultations without connecting a separate video platform.

After a meeting, Foodzilla can also support AI generated meeting information such as:

• Transcripts

• Meeting summaries

• Follow up actions

AI meeting summaries can be disabled if you do not want to use them.

You can also start a private video call with an individual client from Messaging.

Foodzilla can be used to collect payment when clients book an appointment.

This can be useful for services such as:

• One off consultations

• Initial assessments

• Discovery calls

• Paid follow up appointments

Payment can be required before the booking is confirmed.

Booking Confirmations and No Show Management

Foodzilla sends booking related emails and reminders to help clients remember upcoming appointments.

Clients can also be asked to confirm their attendance, helping you identify appointments that may require follow up.

Booking limits, notice periods, and other scheduling controls can be configured to reduce last minute bookings and make your calendar easier to manage.

Managing New Leads From Bookings

Someone does not need to already be an active client to book with you.

New prospects who interact with your booking, store, or forms can appear under Leads, where you can manage them before converting them into clients.

This makes bookings useful not only for existing clients, but also for attracting and onboarding new prospects.
